DNS di Keluarga Red Hat (1)

Membuat DNS di Fedora caranya sama dengan yang ada pada induknya yakni Red Hat begitu juga dengan centos. Hal pertama kali untuk membuat DNS adalah memeriksa aplikasi bind yang ada pada Linux kita dengan perintah :

[root@student etc]# rpm -qa | grep bind
bind-utils-9.7.2-2.P2.fc14.i686
PackageKit-device-rebind-0.6.9-4.fc14.i686
bind-libs-9.7.2-2.P2.fc14.i686
samba-winbind-clients-3.5.5-68.fc14.1.i686

Jika dilihat dari bind secara default, maka terasa kurang lengkap tanpa kehadiran bind, bind-chroot dan ypbind. Oleh karena itu kita perlu menginstall bind ulang dari repository dengan perintah :

[root@student etc]# yum install bind
Loaded plugins: langpacks, presto, refresh-packagekit
